​​​​​​​Studio A Landscape Architecture and Engineering, DPC is a diverse design firm located in downtown Saratoga Springs, NY that focuses on creating spaces that are environmentally sensitive, technically innovative, and economically feasible. Studio A maintains a flourishing firm with a wide range of projects including resorts, high-end residential, parks, and urban plazas, health care, educational and sports facility, master planning, design, and permitting. ​​​​​​​
LANDSCAPE DESIGNER - 1-5 Years 
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Assist in preparation of design documents, conceptual and schematic designs, design development, and construction documents;
Prepare graphic representations, visual perspectives, and presentation materials;
Prepare initial site inventory and analysis, mapping and graphically represent preliminary materials to project team; and
Participate as a team to complete projects on time and on budget. 
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture;
Ability to work independently as well as to interact effectively with clients, project teams, and colleagues;
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office. Lumion and/or HydroCAD is a plus; and
Creative thinking, self-starter, team player, strong communication skills, both written and spoken. 

Civil Engineer - 3-7 Years 
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with a team of professionals while developing site civil engineering plans, reports, and specifications for a multitude of land development projects;
Performing and supervising research, site, and roadway layout and grading, water and sewer system design, stormwater management design, and wood, steel, and concrete design for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional development projects; and
Perform site visits to monitor construction at critical project milestones. 
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited College or University;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
3-7 years of relevant experience;
Proficiency in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office, HydroCAD is a plus; and
E.I.T Certification is preferred but not required. 

CAD DESIGNER - 1+ Years 
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with a team of professionals while developing site civil engineering plans, reports, and specifications for a multitude of land development projects;
Performing and supervising research, site, and roadway layout and grading, water and sewer system design, stormwater management design, and wood, steel, and concrete design for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional development projects; and
Perform site visits to monitor construction at critical project milestones. 
Minimum Requirements:
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D;
Minimum of Associate's Degree or Technical School Diploma/Certificate Computer-Aided Design Technology;
Ability to work independently and participate and collaborate in a project team setting;
Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and other similar material
Willingness to learn and maintain Studio A CAD standards and systems
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals for the production of technical details, drawings, and models with attention to detail and accuracy; and
SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite knowledge a plus.
